Vizantrop

Screening of the film “Making a Living in the Dry Season” (35′, Angola, Reino Unido, Portugal), at the Engaged Ethnographic Film Festival, in Belgrade, Serbia, taking place bwteeen 13 and 16 June.

The festival’s programme gathers 29 films from various places, in two competitive sections and one non-competitive section.

The festival is organized by the international collective “Vizantrop”, based in Belgrade and Zagreb.

The festival’s mission “is to encourage research and creative approaches to engaged ethnographic film, to educate audience about ways to perceive and accept the diversity of local cultural traditions and to point out the importance of cultural specificities and the importance of preserving cultural heritage.”
